4. Our short history


2006
Founding of Kings Hill Cricket Club, initially playing as a wandering team

2008
De Havilland Mosquito adopted as the official emblem of the 1st XI, in recognition of the military connection to the area, previously the site of RAF West Malling

2009
Work begins on the Kings Hill Oval pavilion

2010
Kings Hill Oval officially opened with our first home match in July against Town Malling

2012
Saturday 1st XI entered into the Kent Regional Cricket League – 1B West

2013
Saturday 1st XI were unbeaten champions of KRCL 1B Central earning promotion

2014
Saturday 1st XI were champions of KRCL 1A West earning promotion
First Under-13 team entered into the Mid-Kent Youth League

2015
Sunday XI entered into the Kent Village League Six, finishing runners-up in their first season and earning promotion
First Under-11 team entered into the Mid-Kent Youth League

2016
Saturday 1st XI were champions of the KRCL Championship East earning promotion to the Premier division
Sunday XI were champions in KVL Five earning promotion

2017
Saturday 2nd XI entered into the KRCL 2C Central, winning the league in their first season and earning promotion
Saturday 1st XI finished second in the KRCL Premier division and earned promotion to the Kent Cricket League

2018
Saturday 2nd XI Champions of KRCL 1B West, earning promotion
Saturday 1st XI finished third in KCL Division 5, earning promotion

2019
Saturday 1st XI Champions of KCL Division 4, earning promotion
Saturday 2nd XI finished second in KRCL 2A Central, earning promotion to the KCL
