Our short history

Kings Hill Cricket Club was founded in 2006 to serve the growing local community. Initially playing as a wandering team, the club has made great strides to become a successful community cricket club.

2006

  • Founding of Kings Hill Cricket Club

2008

  • Havilland Mosquito adopted as the official emblem of the 1st XI, in recognition of the military connection to the area, previously RAF Kings Hill

2009

  • Work begins on the Kings Hill Oval pavilion

2010

  • Kings Hill Oval officially opened with our first home match in July against Town Malling

2012

  • Saturday 1st XI entered into the Kent Regional Cricket League – 1B West

2013

  • Saturday 1st XI were unbeaten champions of KRCL 1B Central earning promotion

2014

  • Saturday 1st XI were champions of KRCL 1A West earning promotion
  • First Under-13 team entered into the Mid-Kent Youth League

2015

  • Sunday XI entered into the Kent Village League Six, finishing runners-up in their first season and earning promotion
  • First Under-11 team entered into the Mid-Kent Youth League

2016

  • Saturday 1st XI were champions of the KRCL Championship East earning promotion to the Premier division
  • Sunday XI were champions in KVL Five earning promotion

2017

  • Saturday 2nd XI entered into the KRCL 2C Central, winning the league in their first season and earning promotion
  • Saturday 1st XI finished second in the KRCL Premier division and earned promotion to the Kent Cricket League

2018

  • Saturday 2nd XI Champions of KRCL 1B West, earning promotion
  • Saturday 1st XI finished third in KCL Division 5
