The club recently got together to mark the end of the junior cricket season and recognise the efforts and achievements of the teams and players.

It’s always fantastic to hear the stories from the season, and to see the enthusiasm for the game from the young players. Thanks again to all the coaches, volunteers, parents and guardians who put in their time to enable the children to develop their skills and learn everything that goes along with being part of a team. A massive thank you to Dave Sutton for all his work facilitating the various teams and activities. And of course a big thanks to our junior cricket sponsor, TenIntelligence, for their ongoing support both on and off the field. You can see photos of some of the those recognised for their performances through the season here.

Junior Player in Senior Cricket: Aleeyan Akber
June Budd Most Improved Boy: Noah Thompstone
June Budd Most Improved Girl: Ruby Stewart
Junior of the Year: Ibrahim Bilal

U11 Vampires
This season was one for personal achievement and growth, with many firsts for a lot of the players - first hard ball match, first runs, first wickets. The established players in the team were great role models throughout the season with quality performances and support and encouragement for new players. The end of season awards were presented to Javier Perry and Samuel Jane for outstanding performances and leadership

U11 Hurricanes
An excellent season of learning and winning was enjoyed by the team this year. Only the weather pipped us to winning the league, but fantastic performances and better still, experience and improvement, were in abundance. A pleasing year.
Allrounder: Josh Allen
Most Improved: James Dudgeon-Smith

U13 Vampires
Whilst their results did not always go the way they wanted, our U13 Vampires had an unbeatable spirit. They always tried their hardest, they always played with a smile on their face and they always stuck together as a team. A great example of juniors enjoying their cricket, whatever the outcome.
Batting: Theo Herring
Bowling: Umer Arif

U13 Hurricanes

Rollercoaster season for the Hurricanes, with some thrilling games and lots of learning for the boys. Given the mix of juniors and seniors, and playing in the premier league with the best U13 teams against several county/district players, they did a fantastic job with a superlative effort all round. Couldn’t win many but gave a good fight and some matches were extremely close, down to the last ball. All in all, a great learning process, getting better with every match and really coming together as a team.
Batting: Rayan Bhatti
Bowling: Will Longley
Fielding: Charlie Savvas

U15 Vampires
A fantastic season, focused on development across the players as individuals but also as a team. Really great to see these individuals begin their journey into adult cricket, while also showing some fantastic banter when playing against school mates at other local clubs. A fantastic group to coach and develop. This year’s award winners were Sam Heathcote and Joe Millward.

U15 Hurricanes
Looking back, our U15 Hurricanes should have won more matches than we lost this season but our batting was not as strong as our bowling. Three times we bowled superbly to contain opponents but couldn't quite chase down their score. Nevertheless, a really encouraging season with many great individual performances and plenty of juniors emerging with a bright future ahead of them in adult cricket for Kings Hill.
Batting: Jack Dyas
Bowling: Noah Thompstone

Swans
The Swans have grown as a team and have had the pleasure of playing for Platt, training with KHCC and playing in an 80 ball match for U13. Their training on a Thursday evening as a girls team is still considered the highlight of the week by all and TMCC are very proud of their attitude and ability to face all challenges. We are looking forward to the 2025 season. Our award winners for 2025 are Jess Vallance and Ruby Stewart.
