We recently held our annual senior cricket awards evening, recognising the top performers for 2023.

It was another successful year for the club, for both league and social cricket. Thanks to all those who were able to attend, and congratulations to the award winners. There are photos of some of those recognised here.

Here is the full list of award winners for the 2023 season

1st XI
Batter: Rich Nicol (2 fifties. 383 runs @ 27.4)
Bowler: Ian Mclean (17 wickets @ 23.6)
Allrounder: Miles Richardson (2 hundreds and 4 fifties. 675 runs @ 67.5. One five-for. 22 wickets @ 16.6)
Captain's Performance: Lewis Hickford 106 vs Gravesend

2nd XI
Batter: Werner Laubscher (2 fifties. 332 runs @ 47.4)
Bowler: Jack Cook (21 wickets @ 12.6)
Allrounder: Ben Newmarch (12 wickets @ 19.2. 72 runs)
Captain's Performance: Chris Bryant 61* vs LESSA

3rd XI
Batter: Nathan Faulkes (4 fifties. 362 runs @ 90.5)
Bowler: Tom Bray (1 five-for. 29 wickets @ 12.3)
Allrounder: Ashley Ulph (3 fifties. 279 runs @ 39.9. 10 catches and 3 stumpings)
Captain's Performance: Ben Clarke 5/20 vs New Ash Green to effectively secure promotion

4th XI
Batter: Ata Siddiqui (1 fifty. 143 runs @ 28.6)
Bowler: Adam Smith (9 wickets @ 9.1)
Allrounder: Harry Allen (93 runs @ 31. 9 wickets @ 26.3)
Captain's Performance: Noah Hutchinson for consistent contributions through the season

Sunday XI
Batter: Reece Merenda (2 fifties. 182 runs @ 30.3)
