Cricket at KHCC after lockdown

We’re excited to see cricket returning to the Kings Hill Oval in 2020, after the challenges of the year so far. As we welcome teams, officials and supporters back, there are a few important changes to take note of. Please take the time to read through the match day conditions below and feel free to get in touch if there is anything that you are not sure of. If you are a visiting team manager or captain, please ensure that anyone travelling to the ground has been sent the documents ahead of the match.

On match day…

  1. Please arrive fully dressed for the match.
  2. Please ensure your team are COVID free. We may request a temperature check prior to play.
  3. Players should bring their own water bottles and ensure they are filled. Access to the pavilion will be for WC use only. The bar will remain closed during the match.
  4. Cricket teas will not be provided. There is an Asda and a Waitrose on Kings Hill. Dominos also offer a
    delivery service.
  5. If rain stops play, players must return to their cars. If not available, please take shelter ensuring you adhere to social distancing. Entry to the pavilion will not be possible.
  6. Players should ensure they have their own pocket-sized hand sanitiser, this would be especially useful when
fielding. KHCC will provide for match officials.
  7. Players will be provided with a designated area to sit. We will number each chair and would encourage players to remain on their number for the day.
  8. Kit bags and valuables will not be stored in the pavilion. Please lock all valuables in your car and keep kit bags within the designated players’ area. KHCC will not be responsible for the loss or damage of kit or valuables.
  9. Should any player become unwell during play, a designated COVID area is available. Please advise a member of KHCC who can assist.
  10. Please ensure you bring a full First Aid kit for your team.
  11. Please review all ECB match guidelines prior to attendance. They are available HERE.
  12. Please complete our NHS Test & Trace document for all players attending on the date.
